This Resolution of the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) implements a plan to reduce catch of yellowfin by all fishing vessels targeting tuna and tuna like species in the Indian Ocean of 24 meters overall length and over, and those under 24 meters if they fish outside the EEZ of their flag State, within the IOTC area of competence. The Plan aims at reduction of catch levels, Fish Aggregating Devices and supply vessels. A single purse seine vessel shall not be supported by more than one single supply vessel of the same flag State at any point in time. CPCs shall monitor fisheries.
