The purpose of this Agreement is to strengthen the cooperation on forestry. Both parties will cooperate in the following areas: (a) Desertification control; (b) Development and use of forest resources; (c) Supporting scientific and technological cooperation between research institutions, forestry schools and other units; (d) forest pest control and prevention of invasion of alien organisms; (e) forest fire prevention and fighting; (f) Communication and exchange of wildlife protection and wildlife illegal trade information; etc.
