The President, with a view of ensuring stable meeting the demand of the population and the country's economy in hydrocarbons, sustainable development and enhancement of the production and export potential of the oil and gas industry, further maintaining and increasing the production of hydrocarbons through the accelerated construction of wells and facilities in prospective areas and deposits, as well as equipment thereof by attracting foreign investments and modern technologies, decrees to approve the Program for increase of mining and extraction of hydrocarbons for the period of 2017-2021 drafted jointly by Fuel and petrochemical refiner “Uzbekneftegaz” with the ministries and departments concerned with a view of maintaining and further increase of mining and extraction of hydrocarbons in oil and gas and gas condensate fields of Ustyurt, Bukhara-Khivinsky, Surkhandarya and Ferghana regions. The aforesaid Program includes complex measures for the construction and development of oil and gas fields for the period of 2017 - 2021 in accordance with Annex 1.
