The two Parties agreed to establish a cooperation mechanism based on this memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in maritime navigation, marine environmental protection and maritime safety. The two Parties will strengthen cooperation in the following areas: exchange information on maritime navigation safety, marine environmental protection and maritime safety; provide navigation aids and related facilities for maritime safety navigation and other assistance for the marine environment and ecological protection; marine research and training projects; etc.
