This Regulation sets the detailed rules on general conditions for the performance of public drinking water supply (also water quality) on the territory of the Canton of Sarajevo, part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This Regulation stipulates the provisions aimed at determining the procedures for processing/treatment and sewage waters (disposal of wastewaters and draining of atmospheric waters), that are included as water management related activities, to be performed in a highly controlled and safe manner, in accordance with multiple environmentally safe approach. The text further provides for various contractual relations, obligations and responsibilities of service provider/user; conditions for measuring, calculating and paying of necessary fees and charges; restrictions, offences and penalties.
