This Regulation determines the rules governing the activities such as collection, disposal, sorting and purchasing of secondary raw materials, including those classified as waste materials. This text also defines the legal position and requirements of operators involved in such activities on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina; the classification of raw materials; the conditions and minimum quality of the same, and further identifies the correct procedure and additional standards and technical-technological issues (spatial, equipment, transport, storage, contractual and administrative provisions). Safety requirements stipulated by the article 2 and in relation to the storage of secondary raw materials, including waste materials, are as follows: preservation of the quality of waste for processing into secondary raw materials, and its keeping away from unfavorable climate impacts; implementation of work safety in the handling of waste materials; protection of the environment from the harmful effects of such collected waste materials.
