These Regulations, consisting of 17 sections divided into three Parts and completed by two Schedules, establish a food safety scheme for an egg production business. The Regulations provide for requirements for accreditation by the Minister. These regulations establish, in Part 2, a food safety scheme in respect of eggs and egg products. In any document, a reference to the egg food safety scheme is taken to be a reference to Part 2 of these regulations, as amended periodically. In addition, they establish Periodic fees and returns; Standard applying under egg food safety scheme; Requirement to be accredited; Requirement to prepare and implement egg food safety programme; Auditing and Register of accreditation and Infringement notices.
