These Directions, consisting of 14 Sections, are enacted to standardize the issuing the organic labeling approval operations document of imported aquatic products and aquatic processed products. the Directions provide for the conditions, procedures and rules for application, review and issuance of organic labeling approval operations document of imported aquatic products and aquatic processed products. When applying for the issuance of consent documents for organic labelling, importers should pay attention to the following points : (1) The application for examination of the certification documents for organic certification of imported aquatic products and aquatic processed products shall be issued by the national or international organic certification authority (organization) announced by the Agriculture Council; (2) The content of organic raw materials of imported aquatic products for examination shall not be less than 95%; (3) When applying for examination of imported aquatic products and aquatic processed products, the quarantine treatment method shall conform to the provisions of the verification benchmark for organic agricultural products and processed products in Taiwan; etc.
