These Regulations are enacted to comprehensively grasp the quality grade situation of agricultural land resources in China, scientifically evaluate and manage agricultural land, promote the rational use of agricultural land, and achieve objective, fair and reasonable grading results. These Regulations stipulate the general principles, preparation work, classification and verification, acceptance of results, etc. regarding to the agricultural land classification.
