This Decree, consisting of 19 articles divided into six Chapters, regulates the State Fund for Environmental Protection (FEPEMA) within the State of Santa Catarina, created by Decree No.º 13.381 of 21 January 1981. FEPEMA aims to support, on a supplementary basis, the research, development and implementation, through the State Department for Sustainable Development (SDS), of socio-environmental programmes, projects and activities related to: the preservation, protection and improvement of the quality of the environment; support for environmental control and enforcement actions; and the training of human resources.
