These Measures, consisting of 13 Articles, are formulated in accordance with the Air Pollution Control Act. The central competent authority shall publish air quality status and forecast data on a daily basis, and provide the competent authorities of municipalities directly under the Central Government and counties (cities) as the basis for issuing early warning and warning of serious deterioration. The competent authorities of municipalities directly under the Central Government and counties (cities) shall announce the regional air quality deterioration prevention and control measures according to the meteorological and pollution source characteristics within their jurisdiction, and incorporate them into the air pollution prevention and control plan.
