This Law creates the State Incentive Programme for Coffee Industrialization in Rondônia (PROCAFÉ - Indústria); extinguishes the Fund for Agricultural and Forestry Development (FUNDAGRO) and the Support Fund for Coffee Cultivation in Rondônia (FUNCAFÉ/RO). PROCAFÉ aims to stimulate the process of industrialization of coffee produced in the State of Rondônia, within the technological standards of quality and environmental preservation, as well as stimulate public and private investments, offering tax incentives to regularly registered and accredited industries. In addition, it creates the Support Fund for Coffee Cultivation within the State of Rondônia (FUNCAFÉ/RO), managed by a Management Committee, under the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Land Regularization of the State of Rondônia. The resources of FUNCAFÉ/RO will be applied in agricultural and environmental research, training of technicians and producers, holding of technical events, dissemination of technology, promotion and marketing of the coffee sector and promotion of its production.
