These Regulations implement provisions of the Land Planning and Development Control Ordinance, 2013 with respect to environmental impact assessment reports to be prepared under sections 19 and 20 of the Ordinance. The Regulations set out the contents that such report must include and provide for assessment of a report by Chief Environmental Officer or Planning Officer. The Regulations also concern the request of a screening opinion or a scoping opinions by an applicant. Such opinions shall be provided and adopted by a Planning Officer. If this is not done, the applicant may apply to the Appeals Tribunal.
