This Decree, consisting of 12 articles divided into four Chapters, creates the Programme for Optimizing the Priority Use of Water Resources (Poupa DF) within the direct and indirect public administration bodies, municipalities and foundations. Poupa DF Programme will be implemented in the public buildings occupied by the bodies and specified entities whether they are themselves or third parties. Poupa DF aims to perform the following activities: promote the progressive reduction of water consumption through planned actions; consolidate a culture of the efficient use of water in public buildings; promote the conservation of water in public buildings through the use of rainwater and the reuse of greywaters.
