Regional Target Program “Development of Food and Processing Industry for the period of 2010-2015” is a regional sectoral policy document, which goal is the development of food and processing industry, increase of the output of agricultural raw materials subject to processing and increase of foodstuffs production. The objectives of the Program shall be as follows: (a) increasing investment attractiveness of food processing enterprises and stimulation of investment activity; (b) creation and promotion of enterprises for primary processing of agricultural commodities, in particular meat and poultry processing enterprises; (c) increase of the production output of foodstuffs with improvement of the quality thereof; and (d) introduction of ecofriendly processes and good practices at food processing enterprises.
