Disaster Risk Management (Declaration of Disaster Area) Order, 2020 (No. 51 of 2020).

This Order of the Prime Minister made under section 26 of the Disaster Risk Management Act declares the whole of Jamaica as a disaster area because of the threat of outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. The Order empowers the competent authorities to take emergency measures in addition to those specified in the Act.
