This Regulation lays down rules for the procedures and principles of the use of loans and grants to forest villagers, cooperatives and cooperative superior organizations in order to achieve the objectives of protecting, developing, operating and expanding forests. This Regulation sets forth terms and conditions for credit and subsidies to contribute to the development of forest villagers and to reduce the pressure on forests. Receivables in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation from forest villagers, cooperatives and cooperative superior organizations shall be suspended for three months, without application requirement, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. This period may be extended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Furthermore, this Regulation postpones the loan installments until 31 December 2023 for debtors in the provinces that were damaged due to the earthquakes that occurred on 6 February 2023 and were declared disaster areas.
