Governmental Decree No. 1607 validating the Regulation establishing criteria for classification of waterworks.

This Governmental Decree establishes that if waterworks in accordance with the criteria approved by this Governmental Decree may be assigned to different classes, then such a hydraulic structure belongs to the highest class of them. The established criteria classify waterworks by IV classes: (a) I class – by height and base soil; (b) II class – in accordance with purpose and operating conditions; (c) III class – protective structures, depending on maximum pressure on water-retaining structure; and (d) IV class – depending on the consequences of possible hydrodynamic accidents.
