This Decree creates the Integrated Information System for the Sectoral Plan for Consolidation of a Low-Carbon Economy in Agriculture and the Technical Committee for Monitoring the Sectoral Plan for Consolidation of a Low-Carbon Economy in Agriculture. The Integrated Information System (SIN-ABC) is under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, with the purpose of: provide technical and scientific support to the Technical Committee for Monitoring the Sector Plan for Consolidation of a Low Carbon Economy in Agriculture (CTABC), in the monitoring and evaluation actions of the Sector Plan for Consolidation of a Low Carbon Economy in Agriculture Agriculture (ABC Plan); consolidate the results of the execution of the ABC Plan, especially those arising from: a) Governance System of the ABC Plan - SIGABC; b) Rural Credit Operations System and Proagro - Sicor; and c) Multi-institutional Platform for Monitoring Reductions of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Agriculture (ABC Platform). The SIN-ABC is composed of the following bodies: General Coordination of Climate Change of the Department of Innovation, Rural Development and Irrigation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (SIGABC); Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa: ABC Platform; and Central Bank of Brazil: Sicor.
