This Notification sets forth procedures and principles of compliance inspection of wastes that will entry to the customs territory of Turkey, in accordance the environmental protection standards. This Notification shall apply to wastes listed in Annex-I. This Notification lays down rules for the requirements of importers for environmental permit and certificate, application procedures for compliance certificate, procedures of compliance inspection, import-prohibited wastes, waste generated in free zone, customs procedures, sanctions and related measures. The import-prohibited wastes are listed in Annex-II/A and Annex-II/B.
