This Methodology establishes the procedure for calculating the target indicators for the annual reduction in the area of forest fires on the land of the forest fund for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030. Indicators on the territory of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are introduced starting from 2022 and are defined as the product of the average five-year assessment of the area of forest fires on the lands of the forest fund for the period from 2017 to 2021 in the territories of the subjects of the Russian Federation in accordance with the information on the occurrence of forest fires, their elimination and effectiveness of extinguishing distributed by specific use of forests contained in the reporting documentation.
