The present Decree sets up provisions on the permitted vessels and gears for target catches of swordfish; it also regulates swordfish by-catch. The Decree also sets compatibility measures between fishing systems/gears and communication obligation, for fishing vessels covered by the exemption regime under Article 2(3) of the Decree of the Minister of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies of 1 March 2012, with regards to their movements out and back to port.
