The Development Strategy of Georgia - Vision 2030 is a national multi-sectoral strategy. Its main objective is to ensure a sustainable and inclusive economic growth. More specifically, the Strategy provides for supporting the development of small and medium-size enterprises; supporting a sustainable and long-term development of the mining sector; effective management of mining; ensuring the sustainability of the Georgian energy sector; developing the energy market; developing the renewable sources of energy; supporting the energy efficiency; ensuring the reliability of access to and supply of energy sources; supporting a sustainable development of tourism; ensuring the water supply to the population of Georgia; improving the waste management system in the regions of Georgia; improving municipal infrastructure; implementing the regional policy and high-mountain regional development in harmony of the EU values; supporting the economic activity in the regions; ensuring that the inhabitants of the high-mountain areas have proper conditions for life and development, and access to public services; developing the value chain in the agricultural and food sectors; developing an effective system of food/feed safety, and veterinary and plant protection; improving the irrigation and drainage systems; developing the sustainable management of land; reducing the vulnerability of the population to the climate change; implementing the integrated management system of water resources; protecting the Black Sea and achieving good qualities conditions of its natural environment; improving the air quality and development of the monitoring and assessment of air quality; improving the waste management and circular economy; improving the system of the management of chemicals; forming an interlinked network of effectively managed protected areas; improving the sustainable management of forests; improving the nuclear and radiation safety; improving the effectiveness and targeting of social protection; improving the access to social services; improving the integration of persons with disabilities; improving the socio-economic conditions and living conditions of internally displaced persons and environmental migrants; supporting the employment programs; encouraging the participation of the youth in decision-making processes; supporting the development of the youth and a realization of their potential; improving the real estate right and related government services; and forming a complete cadastral database.
