This Law creates the “Novos Horizontes” State Development Programme, aimed at cooperatives and family farming associations, through productive inclusion strategies, with a view to promoting food and nutritional security, and contributing to the increase in the income of beneficiaries and of their families. The Programme aims to reach families in a situation of economic vulnerability, through cooperatives and associations, stimulating the sustainable productive activities of low-income families in rural areas, as well as promoting the development of autonomy. The benefits to be made available are: flour kits; growing kits; overland drainage kits; river runoff kits; solar power generator kits.
