This Complementary Law creates within the State Agricultural, Livestock and Forestry Development Programme (PROAGRI), the Sub-programme to Support Family Farming Production. The objective of the sub-programme is to support rural development by verticalizing and strengthening family farming production as a segment that generates jobs and income, to encourage the processing and transformation of regional raw materials, and to include rural producers in the formal production process on a sustainable basis.
