The present Government Decree contains contains provisions on minimum environmental protection requirements for quarries, other stone extraction, and stone crushers when the activity requires an environmental permit. The Decree contains specific rules on the location of activities; restrictions on air emissions and dispersion of emissions; air quality; noise control and noise levels; time restrictions for noise-generating activities; protection of soil and groundwater; waste management; emergency preparedness; etc.
