The Genetic Heritage Management Council (CGen), using the powers conferred by Law No. 13.123 of 20 May 2015, and Decree No. 8.772 of 11 May 2016, and in view of the provisions of its Internal Regulations, annexed to MMA Order No. 427 of 29 September 2016, creates the Thematic Chamber for proposing and monitoring improvements to the National System for the Management of Genetic Heritage and Associated Traditional Knowledge (CT - SisGen). In particular, SisGen, aims at: acting as a forum aimed at identifying demands and opportunities that can contribute to improving SisGen and the provision of its services; and promoting debates, training and public tests to obtain technical subsidies and suggestions for improving SisGen's functionalities.
