This Norm approves the Technical Regulation for the registration of Performance Enhancing Antimicrobial and Anticoccidial Additives administered via animal feed. The registration of a performance-enhancing antimicrobial or anticoccidial additives will be granted after complying with the Regulation approved by Decree No. 5.053 of 22 April 2004 and upon presentation by the interested party and approval by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. Performance-enhancing antimicrobial and anticoccidial additives must be used in the quantity and at the intervals strictly necessary to achieve the desired effect, respecting the maximum concentrations according to the product's registration.
