This Ministerial Order approves the Guide for drawing up the Integrated Provincial Forest Management Plan (PPIGF). The PPIGF is approved by Order of the Minister who oversees the forestry area, and is managed by the Provincial Environment Service. It is under the responsibility of the National Forestry Directorate (DINAF) to establish the mechanisms for short and medium-term monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of this Guide to the PPIGF. The aim of this guide is to support the planning of the PPIGF in the different provinces by providing information on the necessary procedures and their flow, as well as other information on the development of the PPIGF. This guide has been prepared with the assumption that it will be used by DINAF, Provincial Environmental Service (SPAs) and other relevant institutions involved in the development of the PPIGF in Mozambique as a reference for the formulation of the PPIGF in accordance with the relevant laws and and regulations.
