This Act amends the Bihar Land Mutation Act, 2011 (principal Act). In section 2 of the principal Act, new sub-section 26(A) defining Jamabandi Register is added after sub-section (26). In section 3, new sub-section (1A) is added after sub-section (1) providing for condonation of delay in filing mutation petition and sub-section (2) is substituted. Further, a new sub-section (3A) is added after sub-section (3) of section 3 of the principal Act requiring Circle Officers to take suo-motu cognizance for online mutation and start mutation case record within three working days. Sub-section (5) and (6) of section 4 are amended. In section 6, new clause (c) is added in sub-section(1) and sub-sections (7) and (8) are replaced.
