This Part provides for assisting landowners, on a voluntary basis, in restoring, enhancing, and protecting forestland resources on private lands, through contracts, easements and cost-share agreements, in order to: promote the recovery of endangered and threatened species; improve plant and animal biodiversity; conserve forest land that provides habitat for threatened or endangered species. Matters covered by this Part include: programme requirements; eligible land; procedural matters; enrolment of easement; compensation for easements and contracts; restoration plan development; transfer of land; violations and remedies.
