This Administrative Regulation makes supplementary provisions on the general principles of foreign trade as stipulated in the Foreign Trade Law, as well as the general principles of the system for the import, export, and transit of goods or products through the Macao Special Administrative Region. The Administrative Regulation consists of 24 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General provisions; Foreign trade activities; Procedures; Modification of licenses or declaration forms; Final provisions. When goods enter the Macao Special Administrative Region or are transited through it, they must undergo health quarantine and phytosanitary inspection conducted by the competent authorities at the customs or other pre-designated locations to check whether the goods meet the relevant conditions (art.18).
