The outlined strategy focuses on six key areas for tackling antibiotic resistance. Action areas include prevention through human and animal healthcare, reducing environmental contamination, and ensuring food safety. Surveillance and monitoring systems integrate human, veterinary, and One Health approaches, while promoting appropriate use of antibiotics through diagnostics in both medicine and veterinary sectors. Communication, cooperation at national and international levels, and advancing research in new diagnostics, antibiotics, and public health are emphasized to combat the growing issue. DART 2030 aims to align national actions with global goals, including setting measurable AMR reduction targets.
