This Law establishes the Solid Waste Reverse Logistics Seal within the State of Maranhão, to be awarded annually to companies whose industrial, commercial or service activities result in solid or semi-solid waste. It also applies to gases contained in containers and/or liquids whose particularities make it unfeasible to discharge them into the public sewage system or bodies of water or which require technically or economically unfeasible solutions in view of the best available technology, under the terms of the National Reverse Logistics Policy, established by Law No. 12.305 of August 2010. The analysis of the requirements for granting the Solid Waste Reverse Logistics Seal, its validity period and other specifications will be defined by means of specific regulations, under the terms of the Constitution of the State of Maranhão.
