This Law here regulates the conditions for performing maritime agency activities related to: navigation of ships and their exploitation, acceptance and dispatch of ships, care of passengers and crew, mediation in concluding contracts for the exploitation of ships, purchase and sale, construction, conversion, repair of ships, insurance of ships and liability of ship owners, i.e. shipowners and supply of ships with supplies, as well as other issues of importance for performing maritime agency activities. Maritime agency activities may be performed by a legal entity that is entered in the register of maritime agents or in the register of maritime agents of intermediaries maintained by the state administration body competent for maritime affairs (Ministry). This Law also applies to inland navigation and other/different vessels of floating objects.
