The CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027 (PSP) aims to address environmental, social and economic challenges by promoting sustainability and inclusiveness. The Plan focuses on: 1) The ecological transition of the agricultural, food and forestry sectors (Green Deal, Farm to Fork, European Biodiversity Strategy, European Climate Framework); 2) Organic farming and organic livestock farming, strategic priorities of the Plan; 3) A major investment in animal welfare to relaunch livestock farming in a sustainable way; 4) A fairer income support system; 5) Increased attention to the production sectors with greater difficulties; 6) New risk management tools, capable of ensuring broader participation of farmers; 7) Strengthening the competitiveness of supply chains; 8) Support of the youth; 9) Greater fairness and safety in working conditions; 10) Strengthen the value of rural areas; 11) Promoting the spread of sustainable forest management; 12) Promote the knowledge system (AKIS) at the service of competitiveness and sustainability.
