Law No. 7.406 creating, within the administrative organisation of the State Executive Branch, the State Secretariat for Animal Protection (SEPET).

This Law establishes the creation, within the administrative organisation of the State Executive Branch, of the State Secretariat for Animal Protection (SEPET). The main objectives of SEPET are to plan, manage, propose, monitor, evaluate and implement public policies, programmes and projects aimed at the health, protection, defence, welfare and rights of animals in the state of Amazonas.
