This Law creates the Programme to Stimulate Port Activity in the State of Sergipe, with the purpose of stimulating the expansion of the volume of import operations by the Inácio Barbosa Maritime Terminal (TMIB). The Programme aims at granting of tax benefits provided for in articles 2 or 3 of this Law, referring to the Tax on Operations related to the Circulation of Goods and on the Provision of Interstate and Intermunicipal Transportation and Communication Services (ICMS), exclusively on imports carried out by this port terminal.
