This Guangxi Food Processing Industry Development Action Plan (2025–2027) aims to promote high-quality, sustainable growth of the regional food processing sector. The Plan seeks to build competitive clusters for rice noodles, tea, liquor, and specialty agricultural products, while cultivating emerging industries like camellia oil, new tea beverages, prefabricated foods, and biomanufacturing. It outlines ten key actions, including industrial optimization, digital transformation, green development, and technological innovation. The Plan encourages investment, automation, and cluster development through specialized parks, stronger enterprises, and branding initiatives. It also promotes cross-border cooperation with ASEAN nations, particularly in agricultural processing. Measures are proposed for supporting policy incentives, financing, talent development, and strengthening food production safety.
