This Norm IBAMA establishes the norms for the export, import and re-export of Prionace glauca (Blue shark), a species listed in Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Exports and imports of specimens, parts, products, and byproducts of this shark species may only be processed through SISCOMEX, regardless of the place of embarkation or disembarkation, in the following customs areas. Export requests for Prionace glauca must be submitted via the Foreign Trade - Siscomex, LPCO (Licenses, Permits, Certificates, and Other Documents), and will necessarily be subject to evaluation by IBAMA.
