This resolution establishes and maintains an official IATTC vessel record for all fishing vessels authorized to operate in the Antigua Convention Area, limited to those flying the flags of Members and Co-operating Non-Members of the Commission (CPCs). The Director is tasked with creating and updating the register, including the date each vessel was added, based on information provided by CPCs. Each CPC must submit detailed vessel data—covering identification, ownership, technical characteristics, fishing authorization, and International Maritime Organization registration—and promptly report any modifications, additions, or deletions. Annual notifications of active vessels are required by June 30, and the Director may request missing data to ensure the completeness of the record. The Commission will review the resolution in 2026 to assess its effectiveness and consider adding new data fields, including the date of initial fishing license issuance.
