This Act amends the Chhattisgarh Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (No. 17 of 1961). A new clause (kk) is added after clause (jj) of section 2. A new sub-section (3-A) is added after sub-section (3) of section 48. Sub-section (3) of section 48-B is amended. Section 53-B is amended by adding a new sub-section (4) after section (3). A new section 53-C is added after section 53-B. Sub-section (3) of section 53 is amended and section 57-B is omitted. Sections 58 and 58-B are amended.
