This Law establishes the Government Procurement Programme for Industrial Incentives (CG Indústria) in the State of Acre, aims to use public procurement as a tool to stimulate industrial development, economic growth, employment creation and income distribution within the state. The programme covers all industrial sectors and seeks to reduce local and regional inequalities by strengthening industrial production and productivity. It also promotes the participation of local industries in supplying goods and products to the state administration, while encouraging compliance with quality standards and supporting the competitiveness of the industrial sector. The law further seeks to align economic development with sustainability and good governance principles. It promotes environmentally sustainable industrial production, encourages the use of local and regional raw materials and technologies, and supports the development of micro and small enterprises. The programme operates through public calls for the accreditation and qualification of companies interested in supplying industrial products to public authorities, ensuring transparency, fiscal responsibility and fair procurement procedures. By fostering local industry through government purchasing power, the law aims to strengthen Acre’s productive base while contributing to sustainable regional development.
