These Regulations, made by the Minister under subsection 23(1) of the Fire Prevention Act, provide for safety measures regarding propane cylinder storage and transportation. The Regulations require approval by the Fire Marshal, the Deputy Fire Marshal, an Assistant Fire Marshal or a local assistant before using a propane cylinder. The Regulations prohibit the abandonment or discard of a propane cylinder.
