Order No. 637 on Augustenborg Wildlife Reserve.

This Order establishes the Augustenborg Wildlife Reserve, covering parts of Augustenborg Fjord, Lillehav and adjacent land areas, with the purpose of protecting the area as a resting, foraging and breeding site for birds. It defines the reserve boundaries through coordinates and maps, including separate areas within Augustenborg Fjord, Lillehav and adjoining land. The Order prohibits hunting and the driving away of mammals and birds in specified parts of the reserve, and specifically prohibits hunting or driving away swimming and wading birds in the land area towards Omfartsvejen; where hunting is prohibited, carrying loaded firearms is also prohibited. It also prohibits public access to the Lillehav area, subject to exceptions for owners, users, their households and staff, rescue operations, environmental tasks by public authorities and necessary navigation marking, although loose dogs are prohibited. The Nature Agency may grant dispensations in special cases, its decisions cannot be appealed administratively, and it supervises compliance. The Order provides for fines, and implements parts of the EU Birds and Habitats Directives.
