This Order establishes a scheme of establishment support for young farmers and horticultural producers under Denmark’s implementation of the EU Common Agricultural Policy. It provides financial assistance to eligible agricultural and horticultural enterprises either to help young farmers or gardeners under 41 years of age establish themselves in the sector or to support the continuation of recently established operations. The Order sets eligibility requirements relating to ownership, management responsibility, qualifications and labour needs, establishes application and prioritisation procedures, and provides fixed grant amounts for part-time and full-time enterprises. It also lays down conditions for payment, monitoring, maintenance of the supported activity for three years, recovery of funds in cases of non-compliance, and obligations concerning acknowledgement of EU funding.
