Ordinance Implementing the Cantonal Forest Act (313.111).

This Ordinance implements the Cantonal Forest Law (KWaG) and establishes the organizational, procedural and management framework for forest administration in the canton. It defines the responsibilities of the competent authorities, including forest planning, forest conservation, approval of activities in forests, management of forest reproductive material, hazard prevention, and oversight of forest use and care. The Ordinance regulates public access to forests, restrictions on forest activities, permits for events and motor vehicle use on forest roads, and sets out principles for close-to-nature forest management and forest planning. It further provides rules on financial assistance, investment credits, support for forest owner cooperatives, and the implementation of federal and cantonal forestry legislation.
