These Regulations amend the principal Regulations which implement Community legislation on agricultural production methods compatible with the requirements of the protection of the environment and the maintenance of the countryside. These Regulations implement Commission Regulation (EC) No. 746/96 laying down detailed rules regarding the application of the Community legislation (i.e. EC Council Directive 2078/92) particularly in relation of agri-environment programme undertakings.
