This Order establishes minimum size for swordfish fishing. It consists of 3 articles specifying minimum size (125 cm.) as well as minimum weight (25 kg.) for "Xiphias gladius" fishing. 15% of landing may be below authorized sizes. It prescribes sanctions to be paid by offenders in compliance with Decree-Law No. 221 of 28 February 1967 and Act No. 7.679 of 23 November 1988.
