This Order regulates fishing activity into the Amazon River basin. It consists of 9 articles specifying the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform the aforementioned activity. It prohibits certain fishing gear and fish species exploitation below the sizes specified in the text. 10% of landing may not exceed such sizes. It prescribes sanitary controls to be carried out by competent services and sanctions to be paid by offenders.
